Renegade

For a lonesome road
From a distant land
He will soon end his travel
Back to his hellish home
Thoughts cry, but silently
Demons crawl but stand proud
The renegade denies himself

Then God reaches out to him
Both stare at both’s eyes
In front of one another
Faith is burnt to ash
God reaches out to him
Both stand there
Proud and strong
Then laugh at destiny
And God reaches out to him
They sit, they wait
They laugh about fate
The laughter hides the tears
That can’t escape

They can’t escape
Both man are tied
One to one another
They carry on to clouds
On through the clouds,
On through the clouds

And they run in circles
Chasing one another
As God believes,
That man remains
A renegade
And he will run
Through the clouds
On the wheel of fate
Oh he’ll run through the clouds
Yes I will run, run through the clouds

A renegade
Will run through the clouds
On the wheel of fate
Oh he’ll run through the clouds
Yes I will run, run through the clouds

E a poesia do Jim Morrison conheces?
Vou continuar a ler-te.
